ABSTRACT
This study was carried out on the effect of manpower planning on organisation performance in Nigeria. The survey design was adopted and the simple random sampling techniques were employed in this study. The population size comprised of staff of Nigeria Bottling Company Plc, Kaduna. In determining the sample size, the researcher purposefully selected 50 respondents and 20 were validated. Self-constructed and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The collected and validated questionnaires were analyzed using frequency tables. The result of the findings reveals that proper manpower planning has positive effect on organization performance. The study recommends that firms must continually provide for improvement of employee career through advancement and secure a link to business performance. It further recommends that Provision should be make for adequate on-the-job- training. This has potentials of contributing to the performance of the organization.
